Looks fine here, using HEAD kde and Qt 3.1 beta 1.
Oooops, I was wrong. the bug still exists.
I can confirm this problem with KDE 3.1.2. These two work fine for me : http://www.libmng.com/MNGsuite/basic_img.html http://www.libmng.com/MNGsuite/text_scroll_img.html But these two do not : http://www.libmng.com/MNGsuite/basic_embed.html http://www.libmng.com/MNGsuite/text_scroll_embed.html
All works on KDE cvs-head . Qt 3.2 though performance is bad.
The T01SCRL.mng on http://www.libmng.com/MNGsuite/text_scroll_embed.html is missing some repaints it seems.
All images display for me with Konqueror from KDE3.2RC1 but Konqueror puts scrollbars on the <embed> versions which looks very odd... I'll attach a screenshot of http://www.libmng.com/MNGsuite/text_scroll_embed.html showing this.
