(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***) Package: kwin Version: KDE 2.2.1 Severity: normal Installed from: Slackware Packages Compiler: Not Specified OS: Linux OS/Compiler notes: Not Specified Using the various focus-follow-mouse modes there is a problem with the mouse scroll-wheel which can be seen like this: 1) Move mouse to an partially hidden window. Window is focussed as expected. 2) Scroll the mouse wheel and the window scrolls but does not raise. This is a change from 2.2.0 to 2.2.1 but not really a bug 3) Now clicking button 12 or 3 does not raise the window. To raise the window I must click the title/frame or move the mouse to focus another window bring the focus back and then click before doing any scrolling. Using the mouse wheel in a window should not "deactivate" ClickRaise (Submitted via bugs.kde.org)
It's also impossibe to raise with button 1 to raise the window when I clicked with buttons 2 or 3 to a window in background before (I'm using the default settings concerning windows in Control Center). Using KDE 3.0.0 compiled from sources (GCC 3.0.4).
Should be fixed in HEAD.
