(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***) Package: konqueror Version: 2.2.1 (using KDE 2.2.1 ) Severity: normal Installed from: compiled sources Compiler: gcc version 2.95.2 19991024 (release) OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.2 OS/Compiler notes: Entering rlan:/winbox in a Konqueror file window does not work. 1. First I get a folder labeled smb on the right pane of the window. If I click on the smb folder I get this error: Could not start process: Unable to create io-slave klauncher said unknown protocol smb 2. After clicking okay I get this error message: Could not read /tmp/Lisa-brett This happens as an ordinary user or if I use the su file manager. (Submitted via bugs.kde.org) (Called from KBugReport dialog)
More information maybe - I notice that if I open the superuser file manager there is a services directory listed which has audiocd listed but not rlan. Is rlan supposed to be listed there? I know it's in the same list of protocols that audiocd is although rlan has no docs. > Thank you for the problem report you have sent regarding KDE. > This is an automatically generated reply to let you know your message has > been received.
