Version: 1.7 (using KDE 4.7.4) OS: Linux When I hover some file by mouse cursor, the «+» selection button appears, so I can select files by clicking it. After that I move Dolphin window by dragging free place inside window (not header and not by Alt+Left click). Then I hover some file by mouse cursor again, but «+» button no longer appears, so I can't select files. Now I can restore functionality of this button only by clicking inside view engine. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Try to select some files by clicking «+» button on them. Click and drag free space inside Dolphin window to move it. Hover any file by mouse and try to select it. You can't do this, because «+» button disappeared. Actual Results: You can't select any files, because «+» button suddenly disappeared. Expected Results: «+» button must not disappear after you moved the Dolphin window. I use Oxygen widget style so I can move windows by dragging it on free space inside them. «+» button appears again when I click inside view engine.
I just confirmed this in Dolphin 2.0 KDE 4.8.3 (Chakra). It does appear to be related to view focus. Like maxtram95 suggested, once I clicked inside a white space of the view area, I was able to get the + sign to appear again.
Resetting assignee to default as per bug #305719
>You can't select any files, because «+» button suddenly disappeared. It's invisible, but it works. After the first click on an (invisible) «+» or «-» button, things go back to normal and these buttons become visible again.
This is most likely caused by https://bugreports.qt-project.org/browse/QTBUG-33161.
