[Part of the Dolphin Bug Weeks 2012] I can't reproduce this using Dolphin 2.1 from KDE SC 4.9.2 (Kubuntu 12.10 package), but I'm not sure if I'm trying the right thing. Error messages that I'm getting don't appear in the status bar. Can you report back whether or not it's still an issue with the latest release?
Dolphin now seems to display warning messages in a KMessageWidget under the location bar,
(In reply to comment #5) > Dolphin now seems to display warning messages in a KMessageWidget under the > location bar, That is my experience as well.
Closing because this is not an issue in recent versions any more, as Bryan and Jekyll have noticed already.
