Hello thank you for your bug report. The problem which you described (Hyperlink failure in KDVI) has been corrected. The bugfix will be included in KDVI0.9g which will be part of the KDE 2.2 release. Let me assure you that I value your bug reports very highly. Please keep sending in problems which you exerience. Without the help of many people which test the everday-stability of KDVI I could never make that program the robust and stable tool which I hope it is going to be in the near future. Regards Stefan Kebekus.

I have encountered the same or a similiar bug in kdvi from KDE-3.1. No hyperlink in the TOC is usable, while footnotes and literature references work. They are shown as underlined and show a target (e.g. #paragraph.3.3.1) but left clicking on them does not jump to the indicated page. The last hyperlink that works contains a "#" in the text, could this be the cause? The same file works flawlessly in xdvi. If you need it, I can send you the file confidentially with private email.
This bug has been fixed in the latest CVS version of KDVI. The amended versio of KDVI will be included in KDE 3.1.1. Thank you for your help, Stefan Kebeksu.
