Description B Leach 2001-05-23 23:16:48 UTC
(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***)

Package: kppp
Version: KDE 2.1.1
Severity: normal
Installed from: Debian Packages
Compiler: PC i586 Debian Linux Potato
OS: Linux
OS/Compiler notes: Not Specified

If a user adds the pppd option noauth normally required to prevent the user's machine from requiring a pap authentication FROM the isp the user is told that only root can use the option.

Documentation does not suggest any means around this problem.

Is this bug still present in a recent version of KDE, such as 3.5.8?
