Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
create a file named "A-TEM.eps", see how it is displayed in dolphin.

Actual Results:  
"A-TEM.e.."

Expected Results:  
"A-TEM.eps"

KDE 4.4.5

Hm, I'm not sure it's really a duplicate - this bug was reported for 4.4.5, but bug 230339 is "works for me" in 4.4.5.

Can you still reproduce the problem? If yes, a screenshot of your font settings (in the System Settings) might help because I can't reproduce the bug, and these things are strongly font-sensitive. Thanks.

Thanks for the screenshot! Unfortunately, I still can't reproduce. But my "Sans Serif" font looks different from yours, that might be the reason why I don't see this buggy behaviour. I could try some more "Sans" fonts from my system when I've got a bit more time.

Maybe it was the same issue as bug 251121 which I could reproduce and which is fixed in 4.5.2. If you see your bug again in 4.5.2 or later, please reopen this report. Thanks!
