I can confirm this bug and I want to add some personal observations.

Nepomuk/Strigi does not start up correctly and starting dolphin via konsole gives me the same error:

"/usr/bin/dolphin(7003)" Error in thread 3034887936 : "org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.ServiceUnknown - The name org.kde.nepomuk.services.nepomukstorage was not provided by any .service files"

* The strigi-indexer is deactivated in systemsettings even though I haven't set this option
* I have to activate strigi (sometimes by doing this check/uncheck repeatedly)
* I have to stop/start/test akonadi-server several times

Finally after this procedure everything is working again and I have fulltext-search-results and information in dolphins side-panel as expected.

Info about my system:
BS: "openSUSE 11.2 (i586)"
Kernel: 2.6.31.12-0.2-desktop
KDE: 4.4.4 (KDE 4.4.4)

This is most likely due to strigi crashing. Can you update your strigi version?

Really old bug report.

Plus, I'm pretty sure this has been fixed. Closing as FIXED. Please reopen if you still experience this issue.
