Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.4.3) OS: Linux I was moving a folder full of pictures to a directory on a network drive (takes a while) and after about half the files in the original directory had been moved I also moved a single file that was not in the original directory to the directory on the network. This file had the same name as a file in the original directory and once it had been moved dolphin deleted the original directory without having completed moving all the files. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Copy a folder to a slow network drive (make sure you have a backup). Half way through, copy a file with a same name as one of the files in the folder to the destination folder. Actual Results: Only part of the files in the folder are moved to the network drive, others are deleted Expected Results: Every file should have been moved.
I can not reproduce it using a slow USB drive. I always get the dialog: "That file already exists, do you want to replace, overwrite or omit" (or something similar).
Can you still reproduce this issue with the newest version of Dolphin? If not, I'll close this bug soon™.
No response -> closing. Please reopen if you can still reproduce this behavior with the newest version of Dolphin.
