Description Maciej Pilichowski 2010-05-29 14:33:08 UTC
Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.4.3)
OS: Linux

I plugged in pendrive, then clicked RMB on the right pane in Dolphin at the pendrive icon, I choose safely remove (or similar), and waited, yet there was no confirmation popup that it is safe now to unplug it.

Reproducible: Didn't try

I think it's a whish beacause it's not a bug.
Only no notifications happened. But the pendrive safely removed.
You can see it by right click menu.

It is usability bug -- operation should end up with some kind of feedback to user.

Ok. Maybe the good is a system notification which shows up in right bottom corner. But don't make a new small window with notification.

Plasma's device notifier does this in 4.6 RC 1. So I think this is fixed.

Resetting assignee to default as per bug #305719
