Description Heiko 2010-05-27 22:29:00 UTC
Version:           unspecified (using KDE 4.4.2)
OS:                Linux

If I open two FTP connections to remote machines, then my two processors are working 99% for kio_ftp (traced with the program "top"). If I close dolphin, the kio_ftp process will be not closed and they need 99% processing time furthermore.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. open dolphin;
2. make two bookmarks on the left canvas (german: Orte) for FTP connections;
3. click on one of the new bookmarks and open with that the FTP connection;
4. click on the other bookmark and open a second FTP connection;
5. click on the first bookmark again
now you can see in the program top, that the kio_ftp process use the whole processor time. If you click between the both bookmarks alternately, the numbers of the kio_ftp process increase.

OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.32-22-generic
Compiler: cc

Can you reproduce using Konqueror too?

I've just opened many bookmarked FTP connection on different servers without any slowdown (tried with dolphin and konqueror).

I've used KDE SC 4.4.5.

I have tested it again and I can't reproduce this error. In the past it was
very simple to reproduce the error but now it works correctly.
