Version: 1.0 Beta1 (0.9.55) (using KDE 4.4.2) OS: Linux Installed from: Ubuntu Packages Escalated here from https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/choqok/+bug/562808 When logging out of KDE (i.e. for system shutdown or reboot, etc), if Choqok is open it will request kdewallet which will eventually open a kdewallet password dialog. This will freeze the KDE logout until the kdewallet password is supplied or the password request box is closed. There are some other apps (i.e. Kmail) that may request the wallet at logout, but the wallet password box quickly closes even if not answered. Only Choqok creates a situation where KDE logout is suspended until wallet password request is either replied or cancelled.
For the record I have the same issue here, same choqoK version but I installed from source onto OpenSUSE 11.2 x86_64 (KDE 4.3.5), Kernel 2.6.31.12-0.2-desktop
This is possibly a duplicate of bug 238363
Can confirm for choqok 1.0 Beta1 (0.9.55) on KDE 4.4.4 on Debian GNU/Linux squeeze. I assume this happens when on shutdown/logout kwalletmanager closes the wallet befor choqok starts saving it's status.
SVN commit 1140749 by momeny: BUG:234509 : Choqok blocks KDE logout with kwallet BUG:238363 Should be fixed via this too. :) M +1 -1 helperlibs/twitterapihelper/twitterapimicroblog.cpp M +4 -1 libchoqok/passwordmanager.cpp WebSVN link: http://websvn.kde.org/?view=rev&revision=1140749
