Description Ray Charles 2010-02-19 00:32:10 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.4.0)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Archlinux Packages

When you try to manually add "trash://" by right clicking on places -> "new entry"
and entering "trash://" as path, the empty trash option doesnt show up when I right click on the entry. If I check the path of the entry, the slashes seem to be cut off and i only see "trash:"

If i add it when im in trash:// by rightclicking in the folder and choosing "add to places", the new entry got "trash:/" as path and rightclicking works as expected.
Comment 1 Ray Charles 2010-02-19 00:34:14 UTC
the dialog is truncating "trash://" to "trash:" which the kfileplacesmodel can't recognize
Comment 2 Méven Car 2020-06-16 17:35:43 UTC
This works nowadays either with "trash:" or "trash://" just fine.
