What I was doing when the application crashed:
While opening a file with several large files, multi gig, Dolphin stoped responding and Dolphin eventually crashed.

From bug 225091:
At the time of the crash I was openning a zip file that I
had just downloaded to the download folder. However, Dophin had become slow and
bogged down before that, as I was navigating to the folder.

The crash occurred as I closed Dolphin.  I don't know whether it's relevant,
but I have been experiencing some periods of 99% CPU usage recently.  Kontact
and related files appear to be the heaviest user, but it is not clear whether
they are causing the problem.

This report sounds similar to my problem. Running Kubuntu 11.04. Dolphin crashes on my downloads folder (hundreds of files and GB worth of data). Attached stack trace with more info.

It seems that nobody reported this crash again for quite some time. Please reopen if you can still reproduce in KDE 4.10.4 or later. Thanks.
