Description aendaene 2009-08-17 08:05:27 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.3.0)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

While playing audio through Amarok, the audio device (default "HDA ATI SB (ALC889A Analog)") stops working, and Phonon falls back to PulseAudio, which does not give any sound output. This only seems to occur at the start of a new track. Restarting Amarok makes it work again.

Which Phonon backend are you using? This could be a duplicate of bug 188444
