(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***)

Package: konqueror
Version: 2.1 Beta 1
Severity: normal
Installed from: RPMS

Konqueror cannot render 5-digit hex color codes (ie: #FFFFF) they need to be in 6-digit format (eg: #FFFFF0).

For example check http://www.breakwindows.com/index.html
note the off-white background in the tables.

Then look at http://www.breakwindows.com/news.html
The formerly off-white is black because l used
BODY BGCOLOR=#FFFFF instead of #FFFFF0

l guess the simple solution is for web developers to specify the full 6-digit color code; but since all the other major browsers worked around my flawed code *ahem* have this feature l thought you might want to include it too.

Good day
Jon
