Description Panagiotis Papadopoulos 2009-06-07 21:34:48 UTC
Version: (using Devel)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Compiled sources

1. Enter a directory, which contains some files and a subdir with some files
2. Switch to Details view and expand the subdirectory
3. Select all files, including the ones in the subdirectory, right-click on them and select "Properties"

Dolphin will not correctly display the file size of the selected files.
If the files are selected, while the subdirectory is not expanded, it shows the correct file size.

Thanks!

I noticed, that the statusbar in dolphin correctly shows the file size, even if a subfolder is expanded

still valid on kdelibs rev. 1030073
:-)

This bug also appears in KDE 4.4.1

What happens is that the size of the selected files is taken into account TWICE when calculating the total size of the selected items.

Ugly bug!
