It seems it's a review, you can right click on it and remove it, but i'm not sure the review contents are correct
Comment 4 Pantoufle 2009-07-28 13:01:20 UTC
Same problem. I added it a hint as "textfield" with the graphic tools in Adobe Acrobat 7.0. The pdf and screenshots with okular, evince and xpdf are added.

the pdf with an added field by Acrobat

scanned with a scanner in a library and an added textfield by Acrobat 7.0 from the graphics toolbox.
Comment 9 rpansky 2009-08-17 20:04:25 UTC
It seems that kpdf-0.5.10 also renders the files in this bug properly.
Comment 10 rpansky 2009-10-12 17:02:12 UTC
The problem remains with v. 0.9.1 (KDE 4.3.1).

PDF notes are shown in HTML/CSS formatting, not as the actual note text.

Document to test (both are the same document):

Screenshot of the document open in both Okular and Adobe Reader, showing differences in display:

This was actually a poppler bug that's been fixed in poppler 0.20. A workaround for older poppler versions is present since okular 0.15, ie KDE 4.9
