Version: 1.10.3 (using 4.1.3 (KDE 4.1.3), Mandriva Linux release 2009.0 (Official) for i586) Compiler: gcc OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.27.14-desktop-1mnb Today I got a mail which caused kmail to crash as soon as I tried to open it. Other mails in the same directory could be opened without problem. If I checked some other directory and went back to the directory with this mail, kmail chashed. I found the mail in "/home/peter/.kde4/share/apps/kmail/mail/Skräp/cur", moved it to the big trash. Now I can go into that diectory and read. The mail had this name "0-1235978374.5114.KvukF:2,S". I have it saved as a textfile and can provide it.

Confirmed in svn trunk r933886 (kde 4.2.65) when I pressed view as HTML. It is in fact an KHTML bug.
Reasigning to KHTML bug assignee. @Jaime: Don't forget to change the assignee when you change the product of a bug report :)
tested the attachement workes fine in plain as well as html view on KDE 4.2.91 Seems to be cheap spam maybe reassign it to the spam assassin people ? ^^
Works fine here too on KDE 4.2.90.
