Version: (using KDE 4.2.0) Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages Konqueror does not handles double-clicks in web applications based on OpenLayers (JavaScript library for displaying maps) like OpenStreetMap.org. The expected behaviour is zooming into the map.
hmm, double click is only dispatches as the quirky KHTML_ECMA_DBLCLICK_EVENT; I wonder what's that, and the difference between CLICK_EVENT and KHTML_ECMA_CLICK_EVENT is all about..
I can confirm this using konqueror 4.2.90

Thank you for the bug report. As this report hasn't seen any changes in 10 years or more, we ask if you can please confirm that the issue still persists. If this bug is no longer persisting or relevant please change the status to resolved.
This is/was really a KHTML and/or KJS bug. I can see that: 1) the double-click on OpenLayers pages (see the demo at https://openlayers.org/en/latest/examples/ ) works with the WebEngine renderer/viewing mode; 2) OpenLayers doesn't work at all on KHTML (it used to render pages 10 years ago, now no more, probably more HTML and JS stuff. So from the point of view of Konqueror, part 1) is solved and I'm going to close this bug. There is still a bug and theoretically speaking it should be created against KHTML (or this one retargeted for that purpose and reassinged to KHTML), but given the future of KHTML, it's not worth doing it (sadly).
... even though the component is "khtml events", so this may be RESOLVED/UNMAINTAINED, but that's not accurate for the whole of konqueror. Let's leave it as it is unless someone disagrees.
