Description Vadym Krevs 2009-02-20 09:02:16 UTC
Version: 4.2.00 (KDE 4.2.0) "release 102" (using 4.2.00 (KDE 4.2.0) "release 102", KDE:KDE4:Factory:Desktop / openSUSE_11.1)
Compiler: gcc
OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.27.7-9-default

When I login into KDE, I get a prompt whether to restore my previous konqueror session or ask later. Even if I choose "No", an instance of konqueror is started in the background and the previous session is restored (10 tabs with different sites).

You most probably misunderstood what's happening: when you did logout KDE saved session with a Konqueror window opened, so when you login again, it got restored. Probably when closing Konqueror on logout it crashed, and that's why now that a konqueror window is being restored, the "Recover from a crash" dialog is shown. If that's not what happened please provide more info and reopen the bug.

I only reported what'd occurred despite my explicit choice not to have my previous konq session restored. Anyhow, thanks for a reply albeit 4 months later - I've switched to Firefox long time ago as konqueror in KDE 4 is pretty much unusable ...
