Version: (using KDE 4.2.0) OS: MS Windows Installed from: MS Windows If KDE configuration is set to use double click, when opening a file with a double click, the application associated with the file starts minimized. This doesn't happen with single click configuration, and this doesn't happen in Konqueror with double click configuration.
Does it happen with every type of file? I'm not able to reproduce it using current trunk.
It happens in files that are opened by a KDE application, like images and text files. It doesn't happen in files that get opened by windows native programs.
Sorry Alex, I've missed you're using windows platform...
Yeah, this is a Windows version specific bug.
I confirm it, I've just checked on windows.
I just realized that it happens too with single click configuration, so someone that can should rename subject.
Can't confirm this on linux, but since it's been said that this is a "KDE on Windows" issue i changed the title to reflect this. Anyway, is this still happening?
I can reproduce the problem using KDE SC 4.7 on Windows XP.
Resetting assignee to default as per bug #305719
I can't reproduce it with kde for windows 4.8.0. The applications start maximized although Dolphin's window remains over the application window. I tested it with okular and some PDFs.
(In reply to comment #10) > I can't reproduce it with kde for windows 4.8.0. Thanks, let's close it then. The bug is/was most likely out of scope of Dolphin anyway,
