Description monstermunch 2009-02-11 18:27:26 UTC
Version: 1.4 (using 4.2.00 (KDE 4.2.0), Kubuntu packages)
Compiler: cc
OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.27-11-generic

At the moment, click+drag on the article table in akregator will select multiple links. I assume this is for marking multiple links but I've never used those features; besides, all other applications use click+shift to select multiple items.

Previously, click+drag on an article would allow you to drag+drop the link on another window e.g. dragging the link onto firefox would open the link in firefox. Now, I cannot do this and it hurts my workflow. I would prefer the previous behaviour.

This bug has only been reported for versions before 4.14, which have been unsupported for at least two years now. Can anyone tell if this bug still present?

If noone confirms this bug for a Framework-based version of kontact (version 5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.08 or later), it gets closed in about three months.

Just as announced in my last comment, I close this bug. If you encounter it again in a recent version (at least 5.0 aka 15.08), please open a new one unless it already exists. Thank you for all your input.
