Description Shlomi Fish 2009-02-05 20:15:22 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.2.0)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Mandriva RPMs

In the tree view of feeds, feeds and folders with unread messages are highlighted with an embolded font, but are not colored. As a result, they are harder to spot, and make using KDE 4.2.0's Akregator less enjoyable in this regard than KDE 3.5.10's which did highlight.

Hopefully, I'll attach a patch to correct the problem.

Proof-of-Concept Patch to color the unread folders.

This is a proof-of-concept patch to color the folders in blue. The color seems a bit strong, but it's better than nothing.

Could this be joined with #173326 ?

Hi all!

I reported this bug many months ago, and it hasn't been dealt with. I still have to suffer from the lack of colours. And I've given a patch. Can anyone please take care of this bug already?

Regards,

This bug has only been reported for versions before 4.14, which have been unsupported for at least two years now. Can anyone tell if this bug still present?

If noone confirms this bug for a Framework-based version of akregator (version 5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.08 or later), it gets closed in about three months.

Still happens with akregator 5.3.0.
