Description Michael Zimmermann 2009-02-03 09:33:18 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.2.0)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

On a Xinerama (ATI bigdekstop) setup, I am used to have two panels.
- Panel A is on the bottom of the left (primary) screen.
- Panel B is on the right of the righth (secondary) screen

This works as long as I have a xinerama setup at all times. Nice. But if I log into the system remotely via NoMachine etc. - hence no xinerama - all plasma settings (background, panel...) regarding the right screen are lost. Login from a xinerama enabled system brings back

Expected:
The way KDE 3.x handled this. In non-xinerama mode Panel B is shown on right edge of the only screen available. Login from a xinerama setup brings back the original setup.
