Description Diederik van der Boor 2009-02-02 11:00:00 UTC
Version: onbekend (using 4.2.00 (KDE 4.2.0) "release 83.1", KDE:KDE4:Factory:Desktop / openSUSE_11.0)
Compiler: gcc
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.25.20-0.1-default

This morning my computer got really slow, which revealed a new bug. When I started an application from the panel, plasma freezed. After some timeout plasma mentions it couldn't reach KLauncher. Could this dbus call be made async?

(note I fixed my slowness toggling the compositing support off and on again)

Are you able to reproduce this bug at will? If so can you please provide steps to reproduce?
Comment 2 Diederik van der Boor 2009-05-10 23:36:49 UTC
Sorry I can't reproduce it. Something caused a lot of CPU or IO load on my system, which frooze up a lot more due what looks like blocking (non-async) dbus calls.
