Description Steve Lubbs 2009-02-02 09:26:04 UTC
Version:            (using KDE 4.2.0)
OS:                Linux
Installed from:    Ubuntu Packages

Configure panel for autohide. Open an app. I confirmed this using both Mozilla and Dolphin. Click on 'file' menu so that menu drops down. With menu still visible (dropped down) move cursor to desktop edge to activate panel. Panel will not show. Mpve cursor back to file menu drop-down. click on 'file' again to cause drop-down to disappear. Move cursor back to window edge. Now panel activates. Oops.

Qt: 4.5.1
KDE: 4.2.71 (KDE 4.2.71 (KDE 4.3 >= 20090428))
Plasma Workspace: 0.3
kdelibs: r961515
kdebase: r961515

I can reproduce this bug.

yes, the menu grabs events. so we don't get them in plasma. not really surprising, not a big problem and not one i expect to see fixed.

close the menu, then go to the panel.
