Version: 2.0.1 (using 4.1.3 (KDE 4.1.3), Kubuntu packages) Compiler: cc OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.27-9-generic hello, the podcast configuration dialog has only two buttons. one that says "apply" and the other says "cancel". so if you perform any changes you have to press "apply" and the "cancel", which is very weird imho. if you have a look at the metadata edit dialog of the mp3 files you will see that this dialog works a bit different. it has also two buttons. one that says "cancel", but the other one says "apply & close". so please make the behaviour consistent and change the "apply" button in the podcast edit dialog to a "apply & close" button. cheers, andy
What you suggest already has a solution in the general UI concept of OK. This button covers the same as Apply & Close, so it'd be sort of silly to go and call it anything else ;) Other than that, yup, forcing people to click the cancel button to close a dialogue isn't so good :) So, in stead i suggest: OK, Apply, Cancel. It is the standard(TM) ;)
> So, in stead i suggest: OK, Apply, Cancel. It is the standard(TM) ;) if this is the best way to implement, then the edit metadata dialog for the mp3 files should be modified as well !
