Version: onbekend (using 4.1.96 (KDE 4.1.96 (KDE 4.2 RC1)) "release 76.3", KDE:KDE4:Factory:Desktop / openSUSE_11.0) Compiler: gcc OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.25.18-0.2-default In the screensaver settings, I wasn't able to configure widgets on the screensaver. The "configure" buttons opens the screensaver, but moving the mouse causes it to quit again. I've managed to work arround it in the following way: - start the normal screensaver - use the unlock button - configure the widgets. Now, pressing the "configure" button in the screensaver settings does work.
I can confirm that this bug was present on 4.1.87 of KDEmod on Arch i686, however, I haven't been able to duplicate it on the RC1 release. I deleted the plasma-overlay related configs, and tried it from scratch, and everything worked as it should. As a note for anyone suffering from this bug, though, I believe that at the time I experienced it, you could get it to work by clicking Apply before going into the plasma-overlay widget setup.
I can confirm this on Kubuntu using 4.1.96. As mentioned above, clicking "Apply" first does workaround the bug.
It's working nicely on trunk r958853.
oh, the apply-button thing. yes, I fixed that ages ago. maybe I forgot to backport - or maybe this bugreport is just that old...
