Version: 4.1.96 (KDE 4.1.96 (KDE 4.2 RC1)) (using 4.1.96 (KDE 4.1.96 (KDE 4.2 RC1)), Debian packages) Compiler: cc OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.26-1-amd64 * Open http://zvonsully.hi5.com you can see that some backgrounds flash or look strange. On firefox they don't ...
I can't see any flashing backgrounds on that page. But i get some error message claiming this user is not a member of hi5 anymore. So maybe the page is missing those tags. Could you provide as a simple testcase, like saving the page locally and removing all parts that are not needed? Than please attach it here, as websites change quite often.
Created attachment 34683 [details] test here is the flickering
Thanks for the testcase, I think I got the point now :) You are reffering to the white flickering, appearing once after the page loaded, and the blue flickering is coming from that gif beeing animated, right? At least the blue flickering appears also in gwenview and firefox...
It should look as in Firefox! I think the bug is in the way gifs are rendered
