Description Sander Pientka 2009-01-09 16:44:32 UTC
Version: 2.0 (using Devel)
Installed from: Compiled sources

Amarok refuses 9 in 10 times to play this stream:
http://www.omroep.nl/live/radio3-breed.asx
It stops buffering after a second.
Comment 1 Mark Kretschmann 2009-01-09 19:04:03 UTC
If anything (the server could be broken), then this is probably a Phonon issue, which Amarok uses for all playback.

Reassigning the report to Phonon. Matthias can decide if it's valid :)

PS:
Please start Amarok from the shell with "amarok --debug" and attach the output here (when you try to play this stream). This could be helpful.

PPS:
Please specify which Phonon backend you are using in KDE, and also the KDE version.

I occasionally have had the same issue (with phonon-xine) until very recently (~1 week)
Apparently I can't reproduce at the moment.

Already working in latest trunk.
Remember that for gstreamer-backend it needed install some wma codec, usually gstreamer-ffmpeg.

Thanks for reporting
