Version: (using KDE 4.1.3) Compiler: gcc 4.3.2 OS: Linux Installed from: Mandriva RPMs 1. Run any window application (which needs second or more time to start). Information on bar appears. 2. Switch to different desktop immediately (before runing application window will be shown). 3. Application window will open on the current desktop instead of previous one (instead of this one, on which application was running). In KDE 3.* applications was opened on desktops, on which they was started, despite any fast desktops switching.
How are you starting the application? Are you getting a bouncing icon?
I'm very sorry, I went wrong. This is only Firefox problem. Maybe this is some settings issue... I have icon on panel (command: firefox %u) and in K-menu. Yes, I getting the bouncing icon. If I open new browser window from an existing Firefox instance window and switch desktop, the new window appers on current desktop (same as after icon click). So this is independent cause of opening method.
(In reply to comment #2) > I'm very sorry, I went wrong. This is only Firefox problem. Maybe this is some do I get it right. The behaviour is only reproducable for Firefox? In that case I'd say Firefox does something strange and probably something wrong.
