Description Pascal d'Hermilly 2008-12-17 18:18:52 UTC
Version: 4.2 beta 1 (using Devel)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Compiled sources

Reproduce:
Put a large-file copying notification on the desktop.
Resize it with the handles.
Click directly on the plasmoid as if you would drag it.
The plasmoid now goes back to the original size.

I can confirm in KDE 4.1.85. This affects all extender applets. (Such as a calendar dragged to the desktop)

Can anyone else reproduce this bug with a recent KDE (4.2.2 / 4.2svn / 4.3svn) ? Thanks :)

Now extender items on the desktop aren't resizable at all. (KDE 4.2.2)
I don't know if you'd call that an improvement or not, though. :P

On current trunk the plasmoid is resizable again and it remembers the size.
The only issue left is that you're forced to resize it keeping the proportions.

I can also resize it in both locked & unlocked state on trunk r961515.
