Version: (using Devel) OS: Linux Installed from: Compiled sources I noticed various graphics corruptions in the kde system tray. The corruptions can be triggered as easily as opening a couple of applications. I copied some of the corruptions in the picture below. www.nperfection.com/other/kde4daily-5.png Judging from the pictures it looks like two of the pictures end up in the same place at some point and that a bit of the picture remains behind in the form of corruption.
Are you using nvidia drivers?
Well, Yes and No. The machine i used to find this bug is a kde4daily virtual machine running under VirtualBox. The Host System indeed uses a nvidia card with nvidia drivers. But the virtual machine is using the vesa driver. ( I set this explicitely in xorg.conf so i am quite sure about that ) Hope that helps.
toolkit and/or driver issues.
