Version: 4.1.3 (KDE 4.1.3) "release 58.2" (using 4.1.3 (KDE 4.1.3) "release 58.2", KDE:KDE4:Factory:Desktop / openSUSE_11.0) Compiler: gcc OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.25.18-0.2-default Hi. I'm using krdc from KDE 4.1.3 from the openSUSE factory tree. It is working mostly fine, except for a weird mouse cursor issue - it disappears over KRDC's toolbars and tabs. It becomes visible again over krdc's menus or inside an open rdp or vnc session window.
Can you reproduce always? With both VNC and RDP?
Yep, with both VNC and RDP. Initially, when KRDC starts the mouse cursor behaves normally. As soon as "Host configuration" dialog pops up, mouse cursor begins to disappear as described above.
Ok, I can reproduce it too now (but just when entering from URL input, but not bookmarks.
Great. BTW, the error seems to have gone away with the update to today's KDE4.1.3 packages from openSUSE's build service (kde4-krdc-4.1.3-43.7).

Pretty sure. As to Qt, I've got the latest required for KDE4.1.3 on openSuSE 11.0: $ rpm -q libqt4 libqt4-4.4.3-26.1
It's still reproducible for me with Qt 4.5 snapshots.. Cursor hides after some time when host config dialog is open and does only show over dialog. Though I have no idea where to look into; I think it's an issue in kdelibs or Qt.
I still see it on Fedora 10 with kde-testing KDE 4.2
I confirm this bug in Opensuse 11.1 with the original kde 4.1.3 and the last 4.2 from opensuse factory repository. The bug was also present in opensuse 10.3 with kde 4.0. The cursor is visible only over the remote sessione and the address bar. Ati 9600 graphic adapter, proprietary driver.
For me the issue was fixed by upgrading to the latest KDE 4.1.3 packages from stable KDE4 repository in build service. rpm -q libqt4 kde4-krdc libqt4-4.4.3-38.1 kde4-krdc-4.1.3-48.16 Nvidia 7600GS, proprietary driver.
I cannot reproduce this issue anymore.
Actually, with version 4.10.5 "release 1", I can still easily reproduce it. It basically happens all the time for me. Intel GPU, Qt 4.8.4-3.6.1 on opensuse.
