Version: Unbekannt (using 4.1.00 (KDE 4.1.0), Arch Linux) Compiler: gcc OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.25-ARCH For some News-Feeds the fonts will be displayed differently, depending on wheather you are reading the site in pure Akregator or in the "Akregator plugin" in Kontact. (Note: you have to activate the option to download the whole website and not just the RSS text). Take the Heise Newsfeed for example: http://www.heise.de/newsticker/heise.rdf Akregator: http://www.abload.de/image.php?img=akregatorpw7.png Kontact: http://www.abload.de/image.php?img=kontact0h3.png Already in KDE 3.5 I observed this behaviour, and it seems like it became ported to KDE4. Maybe it has something to do with the DPI-setting? Because on my desktop machine with 96 DPI it looks all the same, but on my laptop with WSXGA and something like 120 DPI I can observe this. This happend also after a fresh install of Linux and KDE.
Can you still reproduce this bug with a recent KDE (4.1.4 / 4.2beta2 / 4.2rc1 / 4.2svn / 4.3svn) ? Thanks :)
I just checked it with KDE 4.1.4 and the bug is still there (I just checked it with the heise newsfeed that I mentioned above).
This bug has only been reported for versions before 4.14, which have been unsupported for at least two years now. Can anyone tell if this bug still present? If noone confirms this bug for a Framework-based version of kontact (version 5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.08 or later), it gets closed in about three months.
Just as announced in my last comment, I close this bug. If you encounter it again in a recent version (at least 5.0 aka 15.08), please open a new one unless it already exists. Thank you for all your input.
