1) Minimize Akregator to panel
2) Right-click panel icon and select Quit
3) When asked to confirm, click Cancel
4) Cry when it closes anyway

I can confirm that this happens in 4.1.0 but NOT in trunk. And it doesn't only happen with akregator. I made a simple app that uses a mainwindow and a system tray icon and it has the same behaviour. I suspect this might be related to KGlobal::ref() and deref() issues that also caused bug 167826.

Seems to be fixed in 4.1.1. Please reopen if it ever happens again.
