Description Jeff Trull 2008-06-08 20:49:48 UTC
Version: (using KDE 3.5.9)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

Previously (in the version of knetworkmanager used in Kubuntu Feisty) it was possible to avoid saving network passwords by disabling kwallet globally. However, in the 3.5.9 version of knetworkmanager passwords are automatically saved as cleartext when kwallet is disabled. If you do not desire your password to be saved, you must leave kwallet enabled, and always click "cancel" whenever it prompts you.

I request there be a "do not save passwords" option in addition to "kwallet" and "save in config file as cleartext".
