Description Yngve Levinsen 2008-05-07 20:30:11 UTC
Version: 3.5.9 (using 3.5.9, Kubuntu (hardy) 4:3.5.9-0ubuntu7)
Compiler: Target: x86_64-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.24-16-generic

This has to do particularly with the web-developer (I sent a complaint) or Konqueror. Anyway, when I open www.dagbladet.no (Norwegian page) in Konqueror on my 64bit Kubuntu version, there is a pop-up that not only shows once, but a duplicate opens every 5 seconds or so. Ridiculously annoying! I have not seen this in any other browser, or even in 32bit Konqueror. All though this might not be a bug per say, the block system is not working as I think it should. The web-developer is just claiming that they don't use pop-up commercials anymore (clearly lying of course). Please let me know if I can provide any additional info to help you solve the problem!

I can also add that it seems that this is a problem with javascript. If I turn javascript off, the problem goes away.

Changing this to fixed as I haven't observed this problem any time with neither kde 3.5 or 4.x in the last months. Not sure where it came from or where it went...
