Description Naresh V 2008-04-25 21:22:10 UTC
Version: 3.5.7 (using 3.5.7 "release 72.6" , openSUSE 10.3)
Compiler: Target: x86_64-suse-linux
OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.22.17-0.1-default

A wordpress.com blogpost containing an <img width="80%" height="80%" ...>IMAGE</img> doesn't respect the height-scale.

 (The exact HTML used is:
 <a href="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3046/2401215845_a6474538ab_o.png"><img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3046/2401215845_a6474538ab_o.png" alt="KNode's Accounts dialog box is a big joke" width="80%" height="80%" /></a>)

 Look at: http://home.iitk.ac.in/~nareshov/wordpress_img_scaling_fault.png
(Firefox and Konqueror displaying the same post side-by-side)

i can confirm this behaviour on 3.5.8 and svn trunk r815560 (~4.1-beta). konqueror doesn't ignore the height-scaling, it _is_ being scaled to 80%height of the original image, but it doesn't consider that the resulting width is less than 80%.
http://nareshov.wordpress.com/2008/04/26/iitk-homepage-hacked-yet-again/ can be used for testing

Confirmed in svn trunk r828814.
Comment 3 Dario Andres 2008-12-21 21:45:54 UTC
Here using:

Qt: 4.4.3
KDE: 4.1.85 (KDE 4.1.85 (KDE 4.2 Beta2))
kdelibs svn rev. 899634 / kdebase svn rev. 899635
on ArchLinux x86_64 - Kernel 2.6.27.8

Firefox3 and Konqueror have the same behaviour. Is this one fixed, Is Firefox3 buggie or I didn't undertood something ?
