Version: Dolphin: 1.0.2 (using KDE 4.0.3) Installed from: Ubuntu Packages Dolphin seems to append the name given to the ssh remote folder to the ssh link that it passes to fish. This breaks the connection. Tried many ssh connections and this seems to happen consistently. For the first time dolphin opens the remote folder, but subsequently clicking on the icon created from the folder in the remote tab seems to have the bug. Qt: 4.3.4 KDE: 4.0.3 (KDE 4.0.3) Dolphin: 1.0.2 Ubuntu 8.04

I just verified this issue on trunk and it has been fixed. I honestly don't know which changes have been done (the root cause of the issue is outside the scope of Dolphin) and hence don't know whether a backport of the fix has been done for KDE 4.0.4... Anyhow for KDE 4.1 this works :-)
how can I get this version on my system ? Do you advice svn checkout and build it on my own ?

This bug has reappeared under KDE 4.1.2, Dolphin 1.1, installed from the Kubuntu 8.10, Intrepid Ibex, AMD64 version.
This bug is still occuring on Dolphin 1.2 (Using KDE 4.2.00) on Kubuntu 8.10 x86_64, installed from http://ppa.launchpad.net/kubuntu-experimental/ubuntu.
I still cannot reproduce this issue. Would it be possible to post a screenshot of the issue including the wrong URL? Thanks!

(In reply to comment #7) > I still cannot reproduce this issue. Would it be possible to post a screenshot > of the issue including the wrong URL? Thanks! > I attached a screenshot (see comment #8), and a screencast of me adding the network folder and reproducing the bug is available at http://www.mercille.org/tmp/screencasts/bugs.kde.org-161202.ogv
Thanks for the video, now I understand. The information that "Add Network" folder has been used would have been very helpful, as the dialog shown in comment #9 is outside of scope of Dolphin and done by KNetAttach :-) I've reassigned this issue to knetattach.
This report is quite old, an I can't reproduce the problem using KDE SC 4.8 RC1. I guess it has been fixed for some time.
