Version: 4.0.3 (KDE 4.0.3) (using 4.0.3 (KDE 4.0.3), Kubuntu packages) Compiler: gcc OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.24-12-generic When I select a link on a web page which opens a new window, rather than just following the link, the link appears in a new tab. But instead of switching to that tab, so you can see the result of that action, the browser remains at the old page. I suppose this is a usability issue, and is not cut and dried, but I found I kept thinking nothing had happened when I clicked on the link.
It's not a bug, it's a feature: go to Settings->Configure Konqueror and have a look at the "General" tab: the checkboxes "Oben new tabs in background" and "Open links in new tab insted of in new window" might be what you are looking for.
Closing since it's not a bug but a feature ;)
