Description BryanFRitt 2008-04-17 19:48:46 UTC
Version:           3.5.8 (using 3.5.8, Kubuntu (gutsy) 4:3.5.8-0ubuntu3.4~gutsy1~ppa2)
Compiler:          Target: x86_64-linux-gnu
OS:                Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.22-14-generic

Konqueror opens Dolphin upon double clicking a folder instead of viewing the contents of the folder within the Konqueror window.

I don't know of anything that I did that might of caused this problem. I can make some wild guesses such as an update, having kde4 and kde3, something with Ubuntu, etc... but nothing really concrete.

I've tried uninstalling Dolphin, as well as reinstalling Konqueror, to see if it would fix the problem and nothing changed.

go to your konqueror settings an reconfigure your default apps in "inode/directory" to use konqueror as default filemanager. please give feedback if you could change the behaviour to the way you want it to be.

I did a clean install/upgrade before I saw your message. I think right before I did a clean install/upgrade, I saw it somewhere else to fix it like you said and it worked.

Konqueror->Settings->Configure Konqueror->File Associations->inode->
mess with directory and system_directory
using Move Up and/or Move Down (and/or Add..., Edit, Remove, if need be)
