Version: (using KDE 4.0.3) Installed from: Ubuntu Packages OS: Linux When connected to a host via FTP Konqueror will crash if you upload a file and then right-click and select view properties. This behaviour is not seen in Dolphin standalone. Reproducible crash: happens every time.
Created attachment 24211 [details] Backtrace of crash (from Konqueror)
any backtrace with "no debugging symbols found" is useless. Please install the debuginfo packages provided by your distro.
Created attachment 24250 [details] Backtrace#2 of crash Konqueror/Dolphin Apologies for that, I did wonder. The new backtrace is with the debug symbols in place although it's still showing some "(no debugging symbols found)" initially. I'll look through for anything else to install. Update to the bug description: this is happening when dragging a file between windows. When I split a pane in Konqueror and dragged the file between I could not reproduce the bug. It happens to files dragged between Konq>Konq and Dolp>Konq but not the other way. As mentioned, it is right-clicking on the file after the copy that causes the crash. Let me know if you need any more info.
on fedora 9 kde 4.0.4: open FTP site in konqueror start upload while progress dialog exist, right click on an existing file select properties > crash happens every time (tried 3 times in a row)
can't reproduce on svn trunk r818883 (~4.1 beta)
i also cant reproduce, if it happens again with beta4.1 or later, feel free to reopen
