Version: 3.5.9 (using 3.5.9, Kubuntu (gutsy) 4:3.5.9-0ubuntu1~gutsy1~ppa1) Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.22-14-generic Javascript-popups are a problem with Konqueror. On the site http://www.onlinetvrecorder.com/ when you select one of the tabs or wait for some seconds, an ad-popup appears. Normally (using Firefox, Opera,...) there is a border around the popup which allows to close the popup, but Konqueror renders the border wrong and does not show the close-button. Thus it is not possible to really use the site anymore...
can't reprdouce that bug on 3.5.[8|9] or svn trunk r818604 (~4.1 beta) but i assume that the website has changed. if you still encounter that bug please give feedback . if you're able to track down the problem a testcase would be really helpful. for future bugreports: since websites usually change quite often and archive.org can't allways help out, please provide a webarchive if the bug is reproduceable with it. a screenshot would be helpful either so people can actually see what rendered wrong. Thanks in advance!
feel free to reopen this bug if you can provide further information
the site has various ad-providers that push ads via popups, where /some/ of them give me trouble (close button rendered offside). Seems a javascript/border/relative margins issue, maybe these are "optimized" for Firefox/IE. Will supply more info when I encounter another of these popups. Sometimes these popups are rendered "behind" Konqueror's main window, which can be a problem sometimes and unnecessarily drains resources.
