Description Hugo Mildenberger 2008-03-20 19:20:37 UTC
Version: (using KDE 3.5.9)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages
Compiler: gcc (GCC) 4.2.3 (Gentoo 4.2.3 p1.0)
OS: Linux

When Konqueror accesses a directory via media:/, a change in that directory is not reflected in konqueror's view. However, watching that very same directory directly (e.g. via /mnt/hdb) does result in an updated view, whenever a file of this directory changes underneath.

I can confirm this in Konqueror 3.5.10. I can't check in 4.1.1 or trunk because they tell me "Protocol not supported: media" :-( Maybe I'm missing a package needed for this...

KDE 3 is no longer maintained and the media handling in KDE 4 is drastically different because of Solid.
