Description Philippe Gassmann 2008-03-18 12:04:18 UTC
Version: (using KDE 3.5.8)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages
OS: Linux

Konqueror or Akregator (or any software that uses khtml) are not showing right colors of JPEG that embeds color profiles in them.

You can test konqueror on this page : http://www.flickr.com/photos/24740388@N05/
Akgrekator can be tested using the feed link at the end of the above page ( http://api.flickr.com/services/feeds/photos_public.gne?id=24740388@N05&lang=fr-fr&format=rss_200 )

It shows two pictures (same RAW files) converted 3 times to JPEG using a different 3 color spaces (sRVB, AdobeRVB and ProPhoto RVB). All pictures should be rendered the same ways : colors for pictures should be the same. This is happening in browser like Safari on OS X, and in Firefox 3 beta 4 with the preference gfx.color_management.enabled set to true.

Thanks for reporting this problem (which was reported later again for Konqueror 4.x, see the duplicate report). Setting the status to NEW.
