Description Seb 2008-02-18 11:37:15 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.0.1)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
OS: Linux

Go to the site

www.derstandard.at

You will see that the scrollbar on the right hand side is visually totally broken (the slider background will not be updated leaving visual artifacts).

Used style: Oxygen.
Only default plugins.
openSUSE BuildService 4.0.1

There are more pages where I encountered this problem, but this one is very simple to find on the web...
Comment 1 Rui G. 2008-05-24 02:42:07 UTC
Confirmed, it still happens in svn revision 811411.
Comment 2 Jaime Torres 2008-07-23 19:36:18 UTC
Or the site has changed or it is fixed in 3.1.60 svn trunk 831729
Comment 3 Rui G. 2008-08-01 12:30:41 UTC
In OpenSuse 11.0 and Arch the problem is still there, but in Kubuntu 8.04.1 I can't even load the site properly, or even if it is, I can't scroll.

Whatever bug the site has, it's still there in recent packages.

I can't reproduce this bug here using:

Qt: 4.4.3
KDE: 4.1.85 (KDE 4.1.85 (KDE 4.2 Beta2))
kdelibs svn rev. 899135 / kdebase svn rev. 899135
on ArchLinux x86_64 - Kernel 2.6.27.8

The scrollbars are correctly updated on scrolling in www.derstandard.at . I don't observe any graphical glitch in them.

Can anyone else confirm this?
Comment 5 Rui G. 2008-12-21 12:27:27 UTC
I'm running beta 2 in Opensuse 11.0 in virtualbox and the problem doesn't seem to be there. Maybe the site was updated or the bug was fixed, can't be sure either way.
Comment 6 Seb 2009-01-29 10:02:55 UTC
The site has changed. Therefore, I do not know if the bug is still there or not. I will mark it as "worksforme"
