Version: unknown (using 3.5.8, Debian Package 4:3.5.8.dfsg.1-5 (lenny/sid)) Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.23-1-686 OpenOffice (on debian sid) has an option to use native user's environment dialogs (kde if i use kde and gnome if i use gnome) so i set OO preferences to use KDE's Open/Save dialogs. mainly because they support kio-slaves !!! BUT: i'm unable to save files into smb://IP/share/some-folder obviously it works from other kde apps :-) i read the http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=125458 bug report and i'm not sure if this is the same issue. if so please disregard.
Sorry, but we have nothing to do w/that OpenOffice.org feature, so we cannot fix any problems you're having with it. (I assume you can save to smb:// fine in actual KDE applications)
yes :-) i can save to smb:// just fine in KDE applications i guess you are right. i was not sure where to file that bug report. i'll see what the OOo folks can do.
